So, I got back from Puerto Rico a week ago. Here is a really short update:

1. Puerto Rico is fabulous. The trip was fabulous. Our hosts were fabulous and fun. Traveling with rjr and kaleidoscopeeye worked out great; a week is a long time to spend with someone and I think it went very well. And, did I mention Puerto Rico is fabulous?

OK. I am off for Puerto Rico. Maybe I will check in. Maybe I won't.

Rth told me last night that he is all but packed for Puerto Rico. Since I know kaleidoscopeeye is already packed or all but, this leaves rjr as my only hope of sanity and not feeling like a complete loser.

I hate how I've got so much done this week and yet I've not got so much done this week.

My to-do list of things which must get done this week before February 25 at 04:30 is spiraling out of control. Between work and personal stuff I am seriously dispairing of actually getting on a plane friday morning. Not all of them are vacation-related; but they all must be done. I bought a camera today! I got a Nikon D70 SLR camera with its stock lens. I will have to do research and see what kind of lens upgrades I want eventually, but for now this should be all the camera I need to take to Puerto Rico and so on. Not sure about my old Nikon Coolpix, now, though. The D70 is a lot bigger and heavier. I'm not very likely ( Read more... )
